Yes, They Are For My Own Amusement

It's true. I use the children for my own amusement. Lately Kaylen has been burping a lot. As in all. the. time. And they have gotten progressively more "on purpose" because she has discovered how to make herself burp.

So yesterday, after about the fifth burp in a row and her laughing hysterically, I began thinking "Wow. So much for being a sweet delicate little thing."

Light bulb moment for self-enjoyment.

I taught her to say "I am a delicate flower." after she burps. :) For some reason, I find this very, very funny.

And yes, we talked about how it was just a family funny thing and around other people she still needs to politely say "excuse me". I'm not *that* bad of a mother. :)

I don't know, I would appreciate the humor of the delicate flower remark! Go Kaylen!

This is something that would amuse ALL of my sisters, including myself! You're not the only one laughing hysterically! :)

And just today I heard an odd noise down the hall and asked what was that? J gallopped away saying "the horsey farted", nice.

Too cute! You aren't the only one using your kids for amusement. Nick has taken to "tooting" in the bath water. So, John taught him to say "LOOK! Pirate bubbles." (followed by lots of giggling)
