Oh my gosh - this shook me to the core. I have to confess that I know *nothing* of the ins and outs of the women who not-so-long ago fought hard to give the rest of us women the right to vote. Nothing. I knew nothing.
I think I received my "big history lesson" on the subject from Mary Poppins. Sad.
Lynilu posted this on her blog. You must read it. And remember all that was done so that you, as a woman, have the right to make your choice on each and every election day. (And I am proud to say that I have missed not a single election since I was 18 years of age. Not a single election. No matter how "small".)
Let your voice be heard, women. Let it be heard. There is just no excuse good enough to not vote.
