So Cute I Can't Stand It!

I talked with Kelton a few weeks ago about starting a Secret Journal that he could write anything and everything in and then leave under our pillows. We would read it and then write something back. (this is not my idea, I actually read it on someones blog and thought "Great idea!" because we all have things we want to tell someone but speaking the words is too difficult. I figure this just might come in handy down the road as a communication tool.)

While I was getting the bed ready for sleep last night I discovered his journal under Dakota's pillow. I jokingly said "You have homework to do before you go to bed." She said "Oh! You're right! I do." and then she told me how he had come to her and told her he wanted to the Secret Journal so they had found one that would work. He had told her everything I had shared with him about it.

And then he went to work. He did four pages but these two are my favorite. He is just so delicious I want to eat him up. :) And I have to say, I am very proud of him and I love seeing him writing things.

This one says "I like Mama and Mama. Thank you God for making me."

And this one says "I wish I was a monster."
