Interesting

I've been wondering about all the things the news media *isn't* reporting and feeling like maybe they are missing (deliberating?) telling us about significant events.

Like this: ‘Alaska Women Reject Palin’ Rally is HUGE!

Makes you wonder, doesn't it? This rally was massively better attended than the (small) 'Welcome Home' rally that news reported on many times and in great lengths.

Interesting, don't you think? And umm..if the women in your own state show up with such force to protest against you....well...you just have to wonder what is going on.

And yes, I know I've been focused on politics lately. I even got an email today from a (previous) lurker on my blog saying "Why do you care so much?" My response: "My question back is 'Why don't you?'"

Hmmm. I'm having trouble with the link, but I'll come back and try later. I got that in an email, and wondered about the time it would take me to get it on my blog.

Great response to the lurker!

I had trouble connecting to it too. I think it's on overload as the link is being published all over the web tonight. I just let it go and it finally loaded. The address is:

Wow - yes - why don't more people care right now? I think it may be a topic for my own blog! Do they realize that the next President will play a huge roll in such things as if/how we address global warming as a nation, the energy crisis, and women's rights? That seems like a lot to care about to me, and those were just the first three that rolled off the top of my head. There are many, many others - our children, sons, brothers continuing to be shipped off to a war that pretty much no one wants, how the rest of the world views the United States (we've gone to a country that many respected to one that very few do), sets the precedent for how much real information we get,do I really need to go on?

For those that don't care, have they paid any attention the the economy? Put asside the usual "issues" for a moment. We need someone who can pull us out of what "W" got us into.

As I said on Dakota's blog if her own people reject her.... that speaks volumes!
