A few people have asked how I managed to break my back so I went back through the archive and found the post I wrote last year. I would say that last line of "It's weird how a single moment in time changes your entire life." is very, very accurate. *sigh*

Yes it is very weird how a single moment in time can change so much. I hate that happened to you but it could have been SO much worse!
Oh, Casey, how awful. I'm so sorry you had to go through that, but on the other hand, so glad you are where you are and how healthy you are now. "Healthy" is a relative term, I know, but when you consider how that might have gone ... yes, you are very healthy. And a MOM!!!
While I knew the end of the story ... I can't say as I ever knew the beginning. I'm still sitting here in shock. I'm so glad (as I know you are too) that Dakota heard you that day.
