I didn't say it was a bad thing that everything came to a hault... just amazing. It is truly hard to imagine. I bet it would be awesome... you can't and aren't expected to go anywhere by anyone! I'd love a few days like that.
Sure... we have snow plows and such... but it takes time for the crews to move the snow and it often isn't until you've gone through a good part of your day that the roads are serviced. It all depends on when the snow starts flying and how much is predicted.
Oh, and then digging yourself out of your driveway after the plows have been through - not fun. But thankfully new neighbor guy has a 4-wheeler with a blade on the front and he is SUPER nice to us.
