My son is busy calling all the people for whom he brought home phone numbers. Oy! Oh he is so cute I could kiss him all over. "Hi..this is Kelton. I'm X's friend. Is she/he there? Can I talk to her/him?" and then "Hi. Did you have a good day at school? Yeah, me too. What do you want to talk about now?"

Does he get embarrassed when you listen in or watch him while he's on the phone? How cute indeed. You can have him practice phone etiquette by having him call your cell!
yep you are on your way....please don't be get him a cell phone at 8 or 9....I just understan why a CHILD needs a cell phone.....everyone tells me it's the day and times now....wow I know I am old....but really a phone who are they going to call?
