Happy Easter!!

What time did Easter morning start at your house? It came waaaay too early here - Kaylen jumped out of bed at 5:30, Kelton was awake around 5. Thankfully, Dakota kept them entertained for a good 40 minutes to allow me to get a little more sleep. By 6:10 we were all up and headed out to see what the big bunny had left for the kids.

Here are a few photos from this morning.

Happy Easter to everyone!

man! the easter bunny up in your state is awesome! In Virginia we just got measly jelly beans and maybe a couple pieces of chocolate. I ALWAYS wanted fun toys too!

Cool! And fun bandaids to boot! Pumpkinhead just got SpongeBob underwear and a new pair of jeans. His Mimi bought him an Easter basket stuffed with candy and he did an egg hunt at church so I figured that was enough candy, but somehow there wasn't a single piece of chocolate in the lot! Boo hiss. :( Someone knows I don't need to be eating those yummy bunny ears or Cadbury Eggs, but still... Guess I'd better steer clear of the stores for a few days. Anyway, your kids look like they had a blast!

Audra: Yeah - our bunny rocks it. :) The bunny hides plastic eggs (with a couple pieces of candy in each) all over th eliving room and dining room and leaves some real gifts in the baskets. The bunny is good about making sure they are things the kids like and will use as opposed to the "Easter row $1-$5 things" that I trip over for a few weeks before I finally toss out so they each got a movie, band aids (they love them), a bath fizzy thing and a small toy.

It works. :)

PT-Lawmom: Bandaids are a hit around here and for less than $2 a box, it's a great source of entertainment. :) And no chocolate? I think that's a mortal sin. :)

Yep, my kids were up an hour earlier then normal. I made them wait on the stairs so we could get the video camera rolling before they hunted down the baskets and eggs. My husband said I (I mean the bunny) went way overboard. But it's all about the kids and making wonderful memories!

Happy Easter! Heidi

Wow, we had an identical Easter! Froggy has the same pj's as Kaylen, and she also got band-aids in her basket! Hilarious.

So cute, both of the kiddos! I'm especially fond of the pic of Kaylen with her mouth wide open. Not sure what she has in her hand, but it obviously excited her!!

Thankfully Riley is still too young to be excited and wake up early. I think she woke up early enough anyway because I was tired on Sunday morning. ;) Cute pictures! Looks like the Easter Bunny loves your kids!
