His Sad Little Life

Oh yeah - this is life as we know it today. He is actually feeling better but clearly still not his happy, go lucky self. It's only 6:30 but it's looking like bedtime to me. THIS, yes, this, is what my life has been like for the past week. And this fit (which is minor in comparision to some) - well it was all about a piece of aluminum foil. OY!!!

But Then....There Are Times Like This

The kids were having a blast yesterday screaming out the window and listening to their screams echo. Don't you wonder what our neighbors are thinking?

Oh Casey I can so relate. Conlan is almost a year older tan Kelton and does this when he is extremely tired!

OH no. Poor Kelton. Though I have to say that it is relieving to see this happens with other kids. But I'm sorry to see you having to go through it.

Loved how you both remained calm, cool, and collected. Though I'd like to see something ridiculous.

Calm cool and collected...yeah because we both knew that we were recording it. :) But we do try to act like that every time but sometimes.....well...you know. :)

Take a peek at the second one I just added to this post. That one should make you laugh!

Kerry - this poor little guy is so tired (though he will deny it with every breath he takes). We went out and about a little today since the kids were feeling better and I think we exhausted his energy surplus.

Ugh I so understand that Casey, we have had the worst case of the stomach flu go through the house the last 2 weeks.Conlan had it for 2 days and asked to go to sleep for a nap and then was asleep by 7:30.He was still tired for a couple of days after that.

Calm cool and collected sure some of the time but by bedtime there are days you had had your fill..I feel for you!

Wow. That could have been Declan. That is exactly the kind of break down he has 3x every day! Glad they're almost 4 :)

Mistalyn,
Yeah - and you know him and know this is *totally* out of character. I'll be glad when it stops.

Looks like you've had a rough week. I Hope it gets better. Last year I got (from a client) that hand/foot/mouth disease. I was miserable, so I can so relate to your kids. Luckily the doctor gave me some good pain meds because I was in so much pain.

Casey, Just wanted to let you know we've been thinking about you and sending lots of healing thoughts up to those kids of yours, and lots of cyberhugs to you! Glad you got some giggling after the meltdown. Makes it all worth it.
