Yesterday reached 92 degrees.....today will be the same or slightly hotter. It's MAY, people - this is insane!!!! I'm hating, hating, hating this. Last night, at 11pm, it was still 81 degrees outside. Ugh.
Let me refresh your memories from last summer........57% of the popluation in the area in which I live does not have air conditioning. We are among that 57% and I'm telling you - this house heats up. Already this morning it is hotter inside than it is outside (and it's 75 outside right now (it's 9:30am)) because we are still dealing with yesterdays trapped hot air.
D, bless her heart, put in the window a/c unit last night. It helps - at least in that room. So....if you're looking for me, I'll be standing directly in front of it all friggin' day long. :)

What great pics! Here in the south, central AC is a must. Can't go anywhere without it. Glad you're feeling a little better.
Our central a/c went out last summer here in tx for almost 3 weeks in July It was hot! Use lots of fans even putting one in front of the a/c will make the cool air go further lol.Also we froze gallon size zip lock bags with water inside and then put the ice in bowls in front of a fan. That worked too
I didn't realize that most people in your area don't have central air. We have had our a/c on for a month now. It's weird though cause the heat is on in the morning and then the a/c on in the afternoon. Glad you guys are "cooler". Great pictures.
Oh poor things!!!!! I really hope it cools down for you soon. Those pictures of Kaylen are just precious though.
I hear ya sista! Thank gawd for those window units though. I wonder if this is what we're going to have to look forward to all summer?

i could not do it...we have it runnin all the time at the moment...sucks...spring bypassed us completely...its been in the 90s here, and i just cannot deal with it... :)

Yup, here too. We only have one window a/c and that's in the dining room. That's why ceiling fans are in every room except the bathrooms. Finally we get to sleep with our window open! And it's not even summer yet!
She's a girl after my own heart...that lil Kaylen with her hair blowing, she def looks like she's saying AHHHHHHHH cool fresh air...lol
We only have a few ac window units and are currently working on getting central AC--thank god, I think I hear angels singing Hallelujah...lol
