Lelli Kelly
Kaylen has discovered something she is IN LOVE with...she has seen them on TV and oh my gosh...if she could swoon, she would.
She calls me in every time it comes on to show me "the world's most beautiful shoes". I looked them up. $70! $70 for a pair of shoes that they will either outgrow or ruin quickly. SERIOUSLY?!!? Who thought $70 for a pair of children's shoes makes sense?
$30? I might have found a way to justify. Maybe. $20? Probably. But $70? That's just crazy.
I told her there was no way. So she thought for a few minutes and said "You know, I have a birthday party in Seattle coming up. Maybe you should tell Uncle James or Aunt Lannon. Maybe *they* love me enough."
Oh my gosh. She is going to be something else in a couple years.

Kaylen is right, those are fabulous shoes! It's crazy that they are $70, but I guess they sell them because of crazy grandmas (like me), or special aunties and uncles that would indulge their wishes. As a mom, nope I wouldn't be able to justify the cost, but as a grandma...well probably -- I did just buy tickets to take my 3 yo & 6 yo grandsons to the Star Wars Orchestra (because they asked) at $70 a ticket.
I do like Kaylen's taste.
Nordstrom puts them on sale now and then. I think their sale on Fall stuff in July usually includes them -- that's when I purchased a pair for Audrey because she, too, was in love. But I would never pay full price. I think I saw they are having a kids shoe sale at the moment, too. ALSO, Target now has their own version.
Kaylen has good taste! ;)
Target version sounds like a great option! Our Little Princess.....
She is such a girly-girl! She reminds me of my own "baby" (older than you, I think) who always saw the most frilly and fussy things. And excuse me? Kaylen DOESN'T swoon? I believe she was swooning about some teenage hunk singer recently, wasn't she? LOL! Little girls are sump'in else!
Such a girl.
I have looked at them for the last couple years and couldnt believe how much they were at Nordstroms. Now that they advertise them on the tv every single morning, my girls want them more and more. Um, sorry!
