Now please continue to keep your fingers crossed for us here in CA. We are currently at 54% to 46%. So it's still close and we are just starting to count San Diego ballots.
I don't live in California and really don't understand how it will impact those who already married. My guess is it will have to go to court to attempt to overturn those.
Maybe someone from CA will comment to let us know.
They are currently trying to decide what will happen to those already married. As it stands those marriages are valid because there was no grandfather clause in the prop that included theme. If they want to invalidate them they will need to file suit against them. In the meantime the lawsuits to prove Prop 8 is unfair have already begun. As well as Rallies planned.
I wish I could bottle up my feelings tonight, so I can remember it forever.

I am extremely sad to report that with 95% of precincts in Prop 8 is currently 52% to 48%. It looks as though it will in fact pass.

How sad that Prop 8 passed. I wish I had lived there to vote against it. What happens there now?
