Mama Said There'd Be Days Like This
It's been a hard day full of ups and downs for me. Many downs, few ups. I think my new manta should be "Don't think, just do." Just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
*sigh* I just miss my mom being in the world. This bites.
some days thats all we can be expected to do...
ReplyDeletehugs to you...
peace...
Like the little elf in Rudolph said "Put one foot in front of the other"..... Hugs Honey.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs Casey! And I love "put one foot in front of the other"!
ReplyDeleteHang in there and I hope today is a good day for you all. *hugs and love*
ReplyDeleteLosing someone close to you has got to be the most difficult part of living. Cling to those good memories.
ReplyDeleteYep, at this stage all you can do is 'pick them up and set them back down'. When you're ready, I highly recommend the book "The Grief Recovery Handbook" by John W. James and Russell Friedman. There are sometimes programs available that take you through it in a group setting. My Mother's cemetary hosts it twice each year. Very helpful!
ReplyDeleteKeep putting that one foot in front of the other.
ReplyDeleteGo with that mantra... for a little while at least. ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteSorry Casey! Hope you get to come back home soon. Hopefully there will be a little refief in getting back to normal routines.
ReplyDeleteWe're thinking of you. xoxox
ReplyDeleteYOu're in my thoughts and prayers this weekend. Just keep breathing.
